Sow & Reap
==========

There were 3 people of different countries that are put to jail for
3 years. They each given a wish to be fulfilled.

The American has asked for 3yrs supply of cigars. The romantic
French has requested for beautiful girls to company him for 3 years
of jail term. Whereas, the Jew has asked for a telephone that can be
connected to people around the world.

3years later, when the American was released, he shouted for a
lighter to light his cigars… and the French man was frowning on
the upbringing of his many dozens of children. Whereas the Jews was
very happy as in the past 3 years, his business has not only grow
for 200%, he has also on-track and up-to-date on the happenings of
the world.
—–//—-
The kind of decision you made will bring you that kind of life in
the future. Your life today is from the decisions you have made
3years ago. And whatever decision you make today will decide your
life for the coming 3years. We must be flexible and be receptive
with whatever information that comes our way to better lead us to
the life we have decided! So…
What/Where do you want to see yourself in 3years?
What’s your decision today?

The Strange Infiltrator
A few years after I was born, my dad met a stranger who was new to our small town. From the beginning, Dad was fascinated with this enchanting newcomer and soon invited him to live with our family. The stranger was quickly accepted and was around from then on.

As I grew up, I never questioned his place in my family. In my young mind, he had a special niche.. My parents were complementary instructors: Mum taught me good from evil, and Dad taught me to obey. But the stranger ….. he was our storyteller. He would keep us spellbound for hours on end with adventures, mysteries, and comedies. If I wanted to know anything about politics, history or science, he always knew the answers about the past, understood the present and even seemed able to predict the future!

He took my family to the football and cricket. He made me laugh, and he made me cry. The stranger never stopped talking, but Dad didn’t seem to mind.

Sometimes, Mum would get up quietly while the rest of us were shushing each other to listen to what he had to say, and she would go to the kitchen for peace and quiet. (I wonder now if she ever prayed for the stranger to leave.)

Dad ruled our household with certain moral convictions, but the stranger never felt obligated to honor them. Profanity, for example, was not allowed in our home … not from us, our friends or any visitors. Our longtime visitor, however, got away with four-letter words that burned my ears and made my dad squirm and my mother blush.

My dad didn’t permit the liberal use of alcohol. But the stranger encouraged us to try it on a regular basis. He made cigarettes look cool, cigars manly, and pipes distinguished. He talked freely (much too freely) about sex. His comments were sometimes blatant, sometimes suggestive, and generally embarrassing. .

I now know that my early concepts about relationships were influenced strongly by the stranger. Time after time, he opposed the values of my parents, yet he was seldom rebuked … And NEVER asked to leave.

More than fifty years have passed since the stranger moved in with our family. He has blended right in and is not nearly as fascinating as he was at first. If you could walk into my parents’ den today, you would still find him sitting over in his corner, waiting for someone to listen to him talk and watch him draw his pictures.

His name?

We just call him, ‘TV.’

He has a wife now,
…. We call her, ‘Computer’.

SARDAR & TIGER

sardar and tiger!

Hi

Sardar Dhakaan Singh is a big hunter. Once he went

to a zoo. At that time a big tiger escaped from its

cage. The zoo officials sent everyone out of the zoo

and closed the main gate.

Now the tiger is inside

the zoo but wandering freely. Zoo people requested

sardar to go inside and trap the tiger in a cage.

Scared but to avoid insult he went into the zoo in

his jeep carrying a big gun. While driving on one

of the zoo’s roads, he noticed that the tiger is

chasing him.

Feeling scared he drove the jeep fast

but only to observe that the tiger is very near to

the jeep. At that time the road separated into

two paths ahead, one to the left and other to the

right. Then cleverly, Dhakaan put the left

indicator on and turned the jeep to the road on

right. The tiger ran into the left path. With a sigh

of relief, he drove forward. After some time

the roads meet and the same situation arises again.

Once more the road divides into two and this time

our sardar is smart enough to put the right

indicator on and turned to left.

This time the tiger

goes into the road on right side. After some

time the roads meet again to our sardar’s misfortune

and the tiger starts to chase him again. This time

the road never divides and our sardar thought the

tiger would catch him. Then a brilliant idea

struck his mind. He slows down his jeep taking it to

the left corner of the road. Then he held his

hand outside and a gives signal which is given for

vehicles which want to overtake. The tiger this

time overtakes his jeep and runs forward. NOW

TELL ME WHAT IS THE MORAL OF THE STORY ?? ANSWER

BELOW…………

MORAL: “There are Sardar Communities
in

Tigers too”.

Enjoy!

literate crime

November 21st, 2008

For those who didnot read this news so far….shocking

Dell employee found guilty of wife's murder - Techie's hair provided vital info to reach the murderer
Gone are the days when marriage was considered as bondage for 7 lives. In one life, people cannot safeguard their marriage today. Murdering seems to be a child's play! Earlier people used to shudder hearing this word but today, especially the techies (supposed to be the most literate & earning people in society) do it at the snap of their fingers.

Manoj Kumar, a Dell Employee, was arrested on November 14th after he was proved of murdering his wife in cold blood. And what more, Manoj used all the good tactics of a professional killer to hide his crime only to be trapped by an unusual set of evidence. His strands of hair in his late wife's finger nails nailed his fate!
As per the media reports, Manoj Kumar had an affair before marriage with a divorcee, Anuradha. He was forced to marry Lakshmi due to parents pressure. He continued his relationship with Anuradha even after marriage and was waiting for an opportunity to get rid of his wife and marry Anuradha.
The opportunity came when Lakshmi, Manoj's wife applied 3 days of sick leave from her office. Lakshmi was working as systems head for IBM. Manoj had been for work on 7th November but came back in the noon. Lakshmi was cooking at the kitchen. As planned, he put a handful of chilly powder on her face. She went to wash her face in bathroom and he went behind her and hit her with an iron rod repeatedly until she collapsed on floor. He then checked her heartbeat and when he found that it was still running, the heartless monster strangled her neck until she wilted in pain and breathed her last.
To escape from all this, he had used gloves all the while so that there could be no finger prints to trace. He also ransacked the house including his wife's mangalsutra, bangles, wallet & mobile phone. This was to give an impression for police that the motive behind this murder was burglary.
How he got caught ultimately is the most interesting part of news:
Forensic experts of course could not find any fingerprints. But they found some strands of hair from Lakshmi's nails. It was then proved that they were Manoj's hair. When Police inquired further they found that Manoj went from work at the noon on 7th November and did not come back. When Manoj was pestered by Police, he blurted out the truth. He confessed that he killed his wife brutally and also showed them the place where he had his his wife's things and money.
Big Question though: Is taking someone's life so easy? Techies, who are considered to be the most literate and intellectual keep coming into news for all bad reasons. Is it the boredom at work, the stress or the long working hours which is taking the toll. Extra Marital Affairs constitute one of the main reason for such incidents. Probably over the period of time, some techies enjoy their second life at workplace more than that at house and there by giving enough reasons for marital problems. Recent case of Amith Budhiraj & Rinku Sachdev's (extra marital affairs) death is a perfect example in this regard!
Hope a strong case and a signal from the law authorities should be passed so that techies or anyone in this regard should think twice before committing such crimes.

Some thoughts for all of U

Do Not …

Do not undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.
It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Do not set your goals by what other people deem important.
Only you know what is best for you..

Do not let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past nor for the future.
By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.

Do not give up when you still have something to give.
Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.
It is a fragile thread that binds us to each other….

Do not be afraid to encounter risks.
It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.

Do not shut love out of your life by saying it is impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive love is to give love; the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly
.

Do not dismiss your dreams.
To be without dreams is to be without hope; to be without hope is to be without purpose.
Do not run through life so fast that you forget not only where you have been, but also where you are going.

Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.

Have a wonderful day.

enjoy current financial crisis

November 21st, 2008

How the finance sector works… very simple explanation

If anyone has difficulty understanding the current world financial situation, the following should help…

Once upon a time in a village in
India, a man announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for 10rs.

The villagers seeing there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them.
The man bought thousands at 10rs, but, as the supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their efforts. The man further announced that he would now buy at 20rs. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again.

Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms. The offer rate increased to 25rs and the supply of monkeys became so little that it was an effort to even see a monkey, let alone catch it!

The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at 50rs! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now act as buyer, on his behalf.

In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers: ‘Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has collected. I will sell them to you at 35rs and when he returns from the city, you can sell them back to him for 50rs.’

The villagers squeezed together their savings and bought all the monkeys.

Then they never saw the man or his assistant again, only monkeys everywhere

WOMEN & WINDOW

November 21st, 2008

Woman and the Window - a short story

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning, while
they are having their breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbour hang the wash outside.
That laundry is not very clean, she said, she doesn’t know how to
wash correctly. Perhaps she needs a better laundry soap.
Her husband looked on, but remained silent. Every time her neighbour
would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same
comment.

About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean
wash on the line and said to her husband: ‘Look! She has learned how
to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this.’
The husband said: ‘I got up early this morning and cleaned our
windows!’

And so it is with life: ‘What we see when watching others depends on
the purity of the window through which we look. Before we give any
criticism, it might be a good idea to check our state of mind and ask
ourselves if we are ready to see the good rather than to be looking
for something in the person we are about to judge. ‘

DECISION MAKING U must read it!!!!!!!!

November 21st, 2008

Decision Making

Which one will you choose?

A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other disused. Only one child played on the disused track, the rest on the operational track. The train came, and you were just beside the track interchange. You could make the train change its course to the disused track and saved most of the kids.

However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the disused track would be sacrificed. Or would you rather let the train go its way?
Let’s take a pause to think what kind of decision we could make…………….

Scroll down if you have no patience.

Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice only one child. You might think the same way, I guess. Exactly, I thought the same way initially because to save most of the children at the expense of only one child was rational decision most people would make, morally and emotionally.
But, have you ever thought that the child choosing to play on the disused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place?

Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was. This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the minority is often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how farsighted and knowledgeable the minority are.
The child who chose not to play with the rest on the operational track was sidelined. And in the case he was sacrificed, no one would shed a tear for him.

The person who wrote the story said he would not try to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the operational track should have known very well that track was still in use, and that they should have run away if they heard the train’s sirens.

If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die because he never thought the train could come over to that track! Moreover, that track was not in use probably because it was not safe. If the train was diverted to the track, we could put the lives of all passengers on board at stake!
And in your attempt to save a few kids by sacrificing one child, you might end up sacrificing hundreds of people to save these few kids.

While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty decisions may not always be the right one.

When Rabri goes to Heaven

November 21st, 2008

HOPE U WILL ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rabri Devi died and went to heaven (Don’t Laugh). As she stood in front of Yamraj , she saw a huge wall of clocks behind. She asked, “What are all those clocks?”

Yamraj answered, “Those are LieClocks. Everyone on Earth has a LieClock. Every time you lie, the hands on your clock will move.”

“Oh,” said Rabri, “Who’s clock is that?”

That’s Gautam Buddha’s. The hands have never moved indicating that he never told a lie.

“And whose clock is that?”

That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have only moved twice, telling us that Abraham only told 2 lies in his entire life.”

Rabri asked, “Where’s my Laloo’s clock?”

Laloo”s clock is in my office”, replied yamraj, “I’m using it as a ceiling fan
