SIX SILENT TEARS

May 29th, 2009

This is from the book I finished last night….Silent Tears - by Lisa Matthews…..

Six silent tears…………

Last night before I went to bed
Thoughts of you filled my head
Though I have not cried this way in many years
Onto my pillow fell six silent tears

The first was for your smile that I miss
And your special ways of expressing your love for me
The second was for your angel face
And thoughts of your loving embrace

The third came as no surprise
As I thought of your beautiful eyes
The fourth came rolling
Instead of my pillow, it should have been you I was holding

The fifth came for one reason alone
I felt my love for you wasn’t fully shown
I really love and miss you my dear
And there just fell the sixth silent tear.

KIDS PART-5

MOON

A boy came home from school with a zero on his paper. “Why did you get a zero?” his mother asked.

“That’s not a zero!” the boy answered. “My teacher ran out of stars, so she gave me a moon.”

OH NO!

For weeks, a six-year old boy kept telling his first-grade teacher about the baby brother or sister that was expected at his house.

One day the mother allowed the boy to feel the movements of the unborn child. The six-year old was obviously impressed, but he made no comment. Furthermore, he stopped telling his teacher about the impending event.

The teacher finally sat the boy on her lap and said, “John, whatever has become of that baby brother or sister you were expecting at home?”

John burst into tears, and said: “I think Mommy ate it!”
