Earth Hour 2009 is a global program undertaken by people like us to raise our voices against climate change, a change that is actually brought about by us because of our quest of having the best of living conditions by destroying trees, by contributing to green house emissions, etc.
This year the Earth Hour 2009 event is going to take place on 28th March 2009 at 8:30pm in countries around the world including India. All the cities in the country including the thousands of people inhibiting in India are expected to participate in the program. The objective of Earth Hour 2009 is is to get as many individuals, households and businesses around the world to turn off their lights and electrical appliances for one hour.
