A Great Move…

Recently the state government of Andhra Pradesh has  taken a decision to introduce CBSE English medium syllabus in government schools through out the state. I felt really happy after listening this news through one of the news channels..

This is really a welcoming decision because it's not only giving English medium education to the poor but it also bridge the gap between the students who are studying in government schools and the corporate schools.

Now-a-days education become a business in Andhra Pradesh, of course not only in Andhra every where.. Today if u want to get a seat for ur kid in a corporate school u should keep at least 20 thousand rupees in ur pocket… The corporate schools collecting around 10-50 thousand rupees as a donation for kindergarten now u can imagine how the situation is. Some corporate schools moving a step forward and conducting interviews for parents also. If they qualify in that interview then only they are giving admission how pity it is?

But I'm still having my doubts how the government put this decision into action.. because the teachers in government schools only can teach in telugu medium because most of them have completed their graduation in telugu medium only..

So that the government having two options in front of them. one is hiring new teachers for CBSE syllabus by keeping all the existing staff. And the second one is giving training to the all existing staff in English medium. it's not that much easy to do any one of these because if they hire new staff then what about the old ones, whether they can continue in their old post or not.. Suppose if they give training to the old ones we don't know how much time it will take to train these many teachers. we just need to wait and see until it takes on action.

Any way the change should come in the education system. Otherwise in coming days the common man can not even think about the education in corporate schools (I mean, what we r thinking as a better education :-) :) )..

P.S: now-a-days some of the parents feeling that "it's a status symbol to join kids in a school by paying more donation"…Apart from this no one is thinking "Is it really worth while or they r creating so much burden on kids by pushing them into a cage where they have to work beyond their ages.."

Dear parents, please think of it

Is this the right way?

Recently  on the way to  my work i met a women who is of my mothers age. she introduced herself as sunitha, she and her husband are doing some small jobs in a private company. she’s having two children son and daughter.son is doing engineering and daughter is doing her +2..after some discusion while leaving we exchange our phone numbers…

After one month i made a call to her to know how she is? she said “now-a-days i’m facing somany problems with my kids..i was suprised and ask what happend.. she started saying like this…

we are middle class people ..even though we are middle calss we want to give our children better life than ours… that’s why we join our son in a better engineering college and our daugther aswell ..eventhough we know it’s beyond our limits.

Now the actual problems started…”My children comapraing themself with the students in their colleges, who came from a high society and fighting with us  daily for the things like bike, cellphone, shoes.cloaths…not only these but there are somany other issues”..

Now we are thinking that whether we’ve done wrong thing by joining these in a well reputed colleges or what?.becoz of this we are not even sleeping properly..she ended her story like this..

I Immediately said..”Aunty, why don’t u sit with ur kids and explain them about ur economic status and give them proper understandanding of how u r working hard to give them better life…”..then she replied  ”we have already done that but they are not in a position to understand our situtation..”..

Friends…it’s not only sunitha madam problem…it’s almost somany parrents problem…now-a-days the children are not in a position to understand how their parrents are struggling to give them better life..they are always forcing parrents into more troubles”..

Why don’t these people think they are having somany better facilities than millions of people in the world..

plz take these points into conisderation:

1) you people having food to take…but there r millions of people who are dying with hunger..some people are not getting a meal at least once in a day.

2) how lucky u r,,, u r having both of ur parrent. but there are millions of people who don’t have parrents to lookafter..

3) how lucky u r,,,,u r having shelter….cloths to wear..but there are millions of people who don’t have shelter and cloths to wear..

4)) how lucky u r,,,all ur body parts are working properly….but there r millions of physically challenged people suffering with different problems..some one lost their legs..some one their hands..some one can’t see how world looks like..some one can’t speak..some can’t listen…oh my god ..somany

But we never observe these things or at least we never think about these…we alwasy want whatever we don’t have…instead of feeling for the things which we don’t have,,enjoy the thing which you have at the moment..this happiness gives u more confidence to achieve ur goals or to get the things which u don’t have right now”…

Hi friends here i want to say only one thing…don’t hurt ur parrents  and don’t force them for the things which they can’t afford….only concentrate on ur studies and make ur parrents feel happy..
