We are celebrating the 60th Independence Day with new hopes and old problems.Our President and Prime minister addressed the nation.state media gave live telecast as usual and private media channels as for change added some partiotic touch to their channels,and praised the independence and tried  their as patriot as any one else.

       The question will arise does the 60 years of independence is safe? is worthy? is it catering to the needs of commom man?no body asked,no body gave a insight into that point.we must this question now.and today.theruling class never thought of addressing the problems of common man.we are still with the old problems of   hunger,poverty,farmers suicide,women equality,dalits untiuchability.still as fresh as as a hotcake.what our politicians did last 60 years,do we feel did  they anything to alleviate of the nation.the two days before independence Supreme Court issued notices to 4 state government and center what steps they have taken to avert the suicide deaths of farmer.the era of Jai Kisan has gone,to day they are dying for pride or hunger
  It sad state of our independence.P.Sainath of Hindu wrote many articles which were internatioanlly recognised,but sadly no indian goverment official or minister did nothing to stop the deaths of farmers.
       The new phase of obstacle to the people is developement,people are scared of thedevelopement.why? the goverment officials came to your house,we building a new  project,your house or farm land come under project ,you have to give your land or we will take it.people have to sacrifice for the projcet,even they never pay the  compensation.The projects environemtally dangerous,like Polavaram irrigation project in AndhraPrdesh,which desrtoys the forest, farmland of the poor dalits, animals in the protected forest even temple town Bhadrachalam will be submerged in the dam.is thedevelopement we need? 
           we want the sustinable developement which will impove the lifes of commom man.Humanrights must be respected,individual freedom must be respected by state and media must listen to the common man,it has to give voice to the commom   man.Democracy and Indepedance will in enshrine in the freeom of speach.

             
                      We shocked to see the reports of a study conducted by the Centere for Economic and Social Studies( CESS) on Polavaram irrgation project on the Godavari  river has indicated that the backwatersof the project would submerge the temple town of  Bhadrachalam,if the are 36 laksh cusecs at the pond level of 140 feet.
                   The people are Bhadrachalam anguished by the report,state governemt deliberately ignoring the voice of the affected people,who are indegenious tribes.the polavaram project will cost the 3 lakhs of tribes and their livelihood and their fields and forest they live and love.
                Thestate goverment claims this is developement which cost historical and mythologically  important temple town Bhadrachalam,which linked to the sentiments  of devotees of Sri Rama all over the world.
         Accoring to the CESS report ,incorporated in the Environment Impact Assement report of polavaram,the spilway of the project is designed for the flood of 36laksh cusecs in the river Godavari in 1986,which considered to be maximum in the last 500 years.If the pond level of 140 ft from mean sea level (MSL) is maintained at Polavaram dam,the backwatere level Bhadrachelam would be 186ft at MSL.During the current floods,the MSL at Bhadrachalam is 180 ft as it is,the town has been inundated.
           This is very clear the Bhadrachalam will vanish from the map,the historical Ram temple will be no more ,if the Polavarm irregation project is built.we request everyone to save the town by protesting against the building of the Polavaram project(dam).

     The suspension of Natwar Sing from congress is a act of irresponsibility of Congress party high command.It reminds us a story of snake eating its own eggs or digging its own grave,congress party has unnecessarily doing the things which are not augur well  for its future.
       The handling of the whole issue is shows the mismanagement of party affairs and childish.The food for oil programm is a bogus and its is inquired by Volcer commission,which has no credibility at all.who is Volcer to declare it as a scam.
    I am very much sympathic to the most successful foreign minister of India,who stood
by Gandhi,Nehru idealogy and multi polar world and NAM.His contribution is great
and commendablein shaping the Indian Foreign Policy making.The pro-us lobby in Manmohan singh cabinet and congress party are successful in sending Natwar from the cabinet,because of his Nehru idealogy of indian foreign policy. 
 The congress party became a bunch of few corporates and its protecting the interest
of the corporates.If it is aginst the recomendations why the GVK Group which belonged to the son-inlaw of T.Subiramireddy got the contract of Airport modernisation and Naveen Jindal’s Jindal Group illeagal mining in tribal areas of Andhra Pradesh which is against Constitution of India and disastraous to environment.The congress party ignored the role of Reliance Industries which was also a beneficiery of oil for food of Iraq.
   Congress Party should learn respecting its Veteran Leaders,who are with the party in its troubled times and served the party their whole life .The treatment meeted to Mr.P.V.Narsimharao,Sitaram Kesari and
now its the turn of Mr.Natwar Singh.

STOP !POLAVARAM DAM(PROJECT)!
Destruction in the name of Development

The word development became a very narrow meaning and sense and in these days. May be it sounds odd but it is true the development confined to only elite sections of the society. The marginalized section like adivasis, dalits and other oppressed classes are not benefited by the development on the other they became the victims of the development.
In many cases Adivasis and Dalits became the refugees in their mother land. Nobody listen to them including, state machinery and their beloved corporate media. The media debates it is a development. If anybody voices against this so called development they were projected anti-development and anti-nation and political opportunists and their opponents .the media never debate and give the voice to the other side of the development.
The violation of environment and human rights and of the people are deliberately ignored. It is now the turn for the people of Andhra Pradesh, who are now in the battle field against the state and it's so called development. They are against the development from which they are excluded from and whose fruits will not cater them. They are many, but a few are Polavaram Project (dam),Pulichintal Project(dam), Thotapllli Project (dam), Gangavaram port, a SEZ in Satyaveedu of Chitturu District, mining in Vishaka agency, A proposed Uranium project in Kadapa district.

Stop big Dams! Save tribes! Save forest! Save environment!

1. Polavaram project is big dam, it submerges the 300 of tribal villages. It will destroy the whole tribal community and their precious culture, which is against the 5th of the schedule of constitution of India and against the Spirit of the UN laws and international laws. The dam will displace 3lacs of tribals and 4lacs hectare of fertile land cultivated by mostly tribals and dalits. 6, 000 hectare of forest in AndhraPradesh, Chatthisghad and Orissa will be destroyed by this project which abundant in funa and flora. The social cost more than the benefits of the dam. A historical Bouddha temple and the many picturesque places will disappear due to submergence. the state government which is building the dam did not have any permissions from the central water commission and forest ministry and environment ministry and even a Central Empowered Committee (CEC) of Supreme Court of India opposed the project and rationale of building the project. local MLA and MP and media reports says that the project work is still going on despite objection and order of Supreme Court CEC to stop the work .the state government did not stop the work at the project site. media reports says there is large scale of corruption, and people affected of the project believe that the Madhucon group who won the project contract is very close to the ruling party MP, he is belonged to the opposition TelugudesamParty.Ignoring the CECof Supreme Court shows how arrogant the state government and the contractors and their strong nexus. Even the Orissa, Chatthisghad state governments opposed the project and they told it
to Bachavat Tribunal . The polavaram dam is against the 5th schedule of the constitution .The state government should take the permission of the president if India. The tribes will loose their livelihood and they are scarified on the altar of profits for a few people. It is the sardar sarovar dam of Andhra Pradesh. The people are demanding to stop the polavaram and other dams which destroys their livelihood culture and homes and lands.

2. The mining of bauxite in the Araku valley which is well known as Ooty of Andhra Pradesh will become a desert. State government signed a secret MOU with the Jindal Company violating traibal rights and environment. The mining of bauxite is the violation of 5th schedule of constitution. It is also against Supreme Court Judgment in Samata case. it has picturesque hill areas which brings beauty to the agency and attracts tourists from various parts of the country. The mining will destroy the eco-balances of the agency and destroy the forest and and its fauna and flora. The dust raised by the mining may wipe out coffee plantations. And fertile lands forcibly taken by the government and announces rehabilitation package and distribute some cash not land for land. Left-parties and tribes are opposing the project. Please register protest to jindal group, Mr.Neveen jindal who is MP of congress party from Haryana.

Oppose SEZ! Save the fertile land! Save farmers

3. State government of Andhra Pradesh ordered the farmers of styaveedu in chitturu district to vacate their lands to give their land to their proposed SEZ.This land is totally farm fields and it is livelihood for the people. If the SEZ is formed people will not just livelihood they loose their properties and become the refugees and the compensation will no way supports their livelihood, it is purely cheating the people. Farmers are opposing the proposed SEZ which cost their life. Farmers asking this proposed SEZ should be stopped.this is clearly violating the environment and attack on the poor people's livelihood.

4. Another story violation of environment is the proposed Uranium plant in kadapa district.the people are opposing the move.state govt is ignoring the people opinion. Please stop the uranium project.

The violation environment and destroying the forest in the name of development in any manner not acceptable. The world today against the building the big dams. The social costs of big dams are more than the benefits. The tribes and dalits are untouched by the development .they are never beneficiaries of the development. The development only confined to the affluent class anywhere either in India or else.as we demand the share of the development. The fruits of development should distributed to all equally.we don't need or want the compesation, we want the share of the development.we must be the shareholders of the development.the development should be sustainable and should not damage the eco-balance.
This is the anguish of the poorest of the poor adivasis and dalits, who space is very insignificance or nothing, In the Indian democracy, their participation in the bureaucracy and judiciary is very very less and whose voice is rarely heard in mainstream media. We request you to give your voice to the voiceless and make it audible to arrogant state and it machinery.
