Tata Nano

With the Tata Nano rolling into showrooms and malls across the country, eager customers have been queing up to see, touch, and sit inside the cute small car. Media reports state that a large number of these customers are senior citizens and teenagers.

First reviews of the much-hyped car from Tata Motors have been glowing. The reviews state that the Nano is not only spacious for four passengers as promised, but even over 5-footers have been able to sit inside minus problems of head room. It is also easy to get in and get out. There are 5 lovely colours to choose from. None of the eager potential buyers seem to be bothered about the steep price of the booking form at Rs.300/- a pop, not to mention the booking amount of Rs.95,000/- (for the base variant). The forms are fast disappearing from Bank branches and dealership showrooms.

If you have experienced the Tata Nano first hand and wish to write a review here's what you can do:

Step 1: Click here to register for free

Step 2: Click here to add your review

Note: You cannot write a review unless you register your name!

Go and Vote '" Informatively!

With one week left for the all-important 2009 Lok Sabha Elections, it is hoped that eligible voters have ensured that their names are on the electoral rolls. Secondly, make sure you take your Voter ID when you go to the polling booth. If you do not have the Voter ID, find out if any other photo ID can be taken such as your PAN card.

It is important not to be influenced by your family and friends in deciding on whom to vote. Make that decision yourself . Not only that, you need to make an informative decision before you enter the polling booth. So get knowledgeable about the various political parties in India right away. Next, find out from which constituency you are located and get more information about that constituency. Most important: Who are the candidates in your constituency? Find out now!

Books

I just love reading books, mostly thrillers (not the horror kind though!). My love for books began when as a kid I read books by Enid Blyton. My all-time favourites, though, were the enchanting tales of the Wishing Tree. What a fascinating idea: climb a tree and enter a cloud that transport you to a different world, each cloud having an exciting place to explore. Even today, when my niece gets a book related to the Wishing Tree, I enjoy it myself too! That is one great aspect of Enid Blyton's books '" it appeals to all age groups and genders. Similar is the case with traditional fables '" these stories never fail to delight a reader.

The Famous Five series led me into a world of adventure in all possible places and created a tingle of excitement as the young self-styled detectives found clues and unraveled mysteries. Then as a teenager I loved the Nancy Drew mysteries.

You can share your reviews on books that you have read @: http://www.indiareviewchannel.com/products/Books-reviews-2.aspx

Chennai Bakery: Pastry Heaven

If there is a separate heaven for pastries, one shop there should definitely be the Adyar Bakery. At this shop, I have had the most sinful pastries ever, with the names matching the taste. For example, if you have a blue currant pastry, you definitely will get the taste of currants + you will literally feel as though you are eating the colour blue!! No kidding! Then there are pastries named Irish Coffee, Red Currant, Strawberry Pastry '.I am sure by now your mouth is drooling!

So if you are visiting Chennai, make sure that you keep time aside to visit the Adyar Bakery. It has many outlets, such as the one at Anna Nagar, but the one I visited was the one at Adyar that is located on the road across from Sangeetha restaurant.
