Chaman say kaun chala yeh khamoshiyan lei kar,
Kali -kali tadaph utthi hai siskiyan leikar,
Tamasha dekh rahey thay jo duubnay ka merey,
Meri talaash mein niklay hain kashtiyan lei kar,

HAPPY DIWALI

The Festival of Lights is upon us again, and I wish my all friends a joyous Happy Deepavali. May the light shines brightly over you and may you be blessed with all that is good and wonderful throughout the new year.

According to the History, Deepavali or Diwali is a major Indian festival/celebration. Known as the Festival of Lights, it symbolises the victory of good over evil, and lamps are lit as a sign of celebration and hope for mankind.

The Sanskrit word Deepavali means array of lights that stands for victory of brightness over darkness. As the knowledge of Sanskrit diminished, the name was popularly modified to Diwali, especially in northern India.

NEVER LICKED THE ENVELOPE

A woman was working in a post office in California.

One day she licked the envelopes and postage stamps instead of using a sponge. That very day the lady found a cut on her tongue. A week later, she noticed an abnormal swelling of her tongue. She went to the doctor, and they found nothing wrong. Her tongue was not sore or anything. A couple of days later, her tongue started to swell more, and it began to get really sore, so sore, that she could not eat. She went back to the hospital, and demanded something be done. The doctor took an x-ray of her tongue and noticed a lump. He prepared her for minor surgery. When the doctor cut her tongue open, a live cockroach crawled out!!!!

There were cockroach eggs on the seal of the envelope. The egg was able to hatch inside of her tongue, because of her saliva. It was warm and moist…

PREVENTION FROM DENGUE FEVER

I would like to share this interesting discovery from a colleague’s son who has just recovered from dengue fever. Apparently, his son was in the critical stage at the SJMC ICU when his platelet count dropped to 15 after blood transfusion also. His father was so worried that he sought another friend’s recommendation and his son was saved. He confessed to me that he give his son raw juice of the papaya leaves. From a platelet count as low as 45 after blood transfusion, it jumped to 135 after drinking the raw papaya leaf juice. Even the doctors and nurses were surprised. After the second day he was discharged. So he asked me to pass this good news around.

Accordingly it is raw papaya leaves 2 pcs just clean and pound and squeeze the juice thro cloth filter. You will only get one tablespoon per leaf. So two tablespoons per serving once a day. No need to boil or cook or rinse with hot water, it will lose its strength. Only the leafy part has to be taken, no stem or sap. It is very bitter and you have to swallow it.

But it works wonders!!!!

Papaya Juice - Cure for Dengue

You may have heard this elsewhere, but if not, I am glad to inform you that papaya juice is a natural cure for dengue fever. As dengue fever is rampant now, I think it’s good to share this with all. A friend of mine had dengue last year. It was a very serious situation for her as her platelet count had dropped to 28,000 after 3 days in hospital and water had started to fill in her lungs. She had difficulty in breathing. She
was only 32-years old. Doctor said there’s no cure for dengue. We just have to wait for her body immune system to build up resistance against dengue and fight its own battle.

She already had 2 blood transfusions and all of us were praying very hard as her platelet continued to drop since the first day she was admitted.

Fortunately her mother-in-law heard that papaya juice would help to reduce the fever and got some papaya leaves, pounded them and squeezed the juice out for her. The next day, her platelet count started to increase, her fever subsided. She was given papaya juice regularly and she recovered after 3 days!!! Amazing but true.

Papaya juice has a cooling effect thus, it helps to reduce the heat in one’s body. I found that its also good when one is having sore throat.

“WHAT IS LOVE”

One must understand whether “what is love” can be a question which can be answered? Love cannot be a question. For, if it is a question then an answer should be there. If the answer is there, where is it? This question is ancient and an answer should have been found by now! If the answer has been found, the question would have disappeared.
But the question still remains, meaning the answer has not been found. If it has not been found as yet, then what is the certainty that it will be found? Maybe the mind can never find the answer! A single answer, which will please all minds, is not possible for each mind has its own ideas of love. Hence a universal answer is an illusion.
Individual answers are there for love and for this very reason there are arguments about love for each mind will contradict the answer of another mind. This contradiction is normal for each mind lives in a different point in time. Hence “what is love” is an illusionary question, which has no answer!

Love is friendship set on fire
Love is an ideal thing, marriage a real thing
To be in love is merely to be in a state of perceptual anesthesia.
Love is everything it’s cracked up to be. That’s why people are so cynical about it…It really is worth fighting for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don’t risk everything, you risk even more

Saying “I love you” is the most beautiful gift you can give to your partner. These words are the most treasured a person can hear. To be different, say, “I Love you”
