Achieve success with home based business by careful planning.

Before starting home based business, consider the following:

• Choose your interest:    Write down the topics you are interested in or have knowledge or experience or all of them.
• Prepare hierarchy: Make an outline with headings, sub-headings, key points under each, merits and demerits, advantages and disadvantages, laws, procedures etc.
• Write history: Write an historical account in chronological order like when you got interested or involved with that topic, how, why etc. Let it run into a number of pages. This will be useful for your blog, ebook etc.
• Conduct research Conduct research starting with wiki, encyclopedias, libraries, open source documents, articles etc. Note the links from the browser and compile them into a folder.
• Do a search: Make a search with good keywords or keyphrases on Google, Yahoo, MSN etc. Study the top 10 webpages and make notes on the topics covered.

Having done the above, make a study of volume of search on:

• Overture
• SEO Keyword Tool
• Web CEO

Copy the keywords and keyphrases to Excel and save in the proper folder. Select the ones that interest you. See if these words appear in your historical essay or not.

Start writing your blog each day or a week with at least 250 words with rich-keyword/keyphrases.

Monetize your blog with AdSense or any other reliable paying ad network.

I came across this new home based business opportunity which I want to share with you today.

Article writing adds tremondous value to one’s presence on the net. If you have a topic on which you can write in an organized manner, you are a winner. You need not be a great writer. You must be able to put across your ideas, thoughts, opinions etc. in a simple and lucid way. As the lunatic says, there are three parts in an article - intro, body and conclusion. In the intro, you write what you are going to write; in the body, you write what you want to write; and in the conclusion, you write what have written!

Well, it gives an encouragement to people who seldom write. But essentially, you must write an outline containing main headings, sub-headings, examples, references etc. and think about a suitable title. A year ago, when I got interested in having my own website, everybody had told me I would have to go for web hosting and domain registration which would cost me about $ 5 recurring every month and $ 10 to $ 20 recurring every year respectively. Not sure what my website would be about, I tried in search engines with the most loved prefix - free.

GeoCities appealed to me since it was from the Yahoo turf. I tried the site builder but some how I did not quite like its limitations. So on a reference, I chanced upon Sams Publishing who were displaying a book on HTML, of course, free! I started reading Dick Oliver’s compelling book and found that within 48 hours, my web page was up and showing. Dick promises to teach HTML to dummies in 24 hours and he succeeds admirably. Hats off, Dick!

In course of time, I learnt the tricks of the trade, faltering at times but sure to make some money to square up the costs. Soon I discovered several free resources on the internet. Initially, due to ignorance and gullibility, I had succumbed to some satanic marketers. Thereafter, I decided to just dump as trash any mail that promises millions for no reason. Though it took almost 8 months for me to get my first check from Google, I thought, I have arrived.

Well, right now I meet my cable cost and even house rent. One has to be reasonable - some money can be made honestly from the net. First of all, why on earth somebody who only knows your email id should help you get millions? Unless they plan to make money by selling you a dream, a dream that will never be fulfilled.
