Anwar Ali - master of swing

Anwar Ali Khan…he of the banana swing and seam movement that ripped through the Indian batting lineup in the U19 finals…took up hard-ball cricket only a year back. And before that he grew up on…surprise surprise…tape ball cricket. Osman Samiuddin talks to the junior world cup heroes.

And here is a 43 minute google video of the finals. Have a very close look…some of these bowling heroes (from both sides) are soon going to torment international batsmen all over the world

and you were saying we had a BAD DAY at office? a bad day at office
would be when batsmen throw away their wickets by chasing wide
deliveries or be involved in stupid run outs. you cannot explain what
happened on the finals as an exception to rule, because a total lack of
application was displayed by out batsmen. They did not move thier feet,
their shot selection was wrong, and more importantly thier mental
    fortitude was found wanting.

I wish you made more insighful comments, not just about this game but
indian cricket in general. i have observed you to be very objective when
dealing with matters of cricket not relating to India. But, when it comes
to Indian cricket, it looks like you become very subjective and bring your
own personal prejudices and then make a comment and expect it to pass
    as the universal truth.

Thanks for the video. Great bowling by the Pak speedsters. The Indians
didn’t have a clue. They have a lot to learn. Chawla impressed too but he
    needs to get more control.
