Hi! I am a working mother of a 2 years old. I have interests in varied things. Reading, listening to music, cleaning (yes that's correct! Cleaning!) & cooking are my interests. Only recently this writing bug seems to have bitten me – I must say, to the bad luck of few readers like you and my employer (when I get little free time in office, instead of crunching additional work I write blogs/stories 
Since I write when I am unemployed in my employment, I manage to churn out just one blog per month or may be none for 2 /3 months (ok ok I heard that sigh of relief
My maternal grandfather was a writer. I must have inherited these genes from him. On second thought, few chromosomes must have got altered. Grandpa was a fine writer and I on the other hand umm… err…

And yes, I better say something about my URL' ‘YICRY’ ! I am sure many must have flinched after reading my URL, thinking it must be somebody's diary churning out blue and sad tales. Hmmm' I did write my first blog in a kind of blue mood' It was the day when Mumbai was attacked by terrorists. And that sad and blue state of mind got reflected in the URL I selected. Later on I did feel like kicking myself (and rediff) coz I could not change it. So I guess ‘YICRY’ will stay with me forever!

But hey, I have written few cheery blogs and happy stories which would make anybody wonder Y(shud)ICRY.

And one more thing. Readers please be aware that those who read my blogs and leave without putting any comments will be tracked down and sued with severe charges!
